Well, there we are, one counter and a dragon eager to serve you! I even reused some of the panel pins studiously removed (by our lovely volunteers last week) from the partitions.
Actually, there are still a few things left to do. I would like to tidy up the corners (that is, hide them) and the one of the pieces of countertop needs another couple of screws. Then, there is the matter of painting and decorating it, but that will likely be a task for some more lovely volunteers!
I think I will rest my carpentry “skills” for a bit!
oOo
Are you going to keep it totally scrappy and fix it with supplies to hand, or will you indulge yourself with a tube of white silicone sealant and tidy it up that way? It’s otherwise very handsome, and gives the dragon somewhere to lounge while he supervises the customers and helpers.

FAB job.
Speaking as someone who has worked in a few shops – I’d recommend rounding the corners off slightly so that there’s less bruising and knocking things off as one rushes to serve the baying customers. 😉

Well, thank you. And thanks for the tip, I have a sander that would just LOVE to round off the countertop corners. The corners of the body, as it were, I think will have some edging to help soften the blow. I’m not sure I’m ready for customers who bay, I am hoping for quiet ones! 😂😂

An excellent scrappy make Mr Snail! You have done a lot since I was there.

your new venture is moving along well, especially since it’s about supplies and using them in a “mend-able” kind of way…
